What does 4A do?

The Association for Applied Animal Andrology (4A) is an international organization which aims to stimulate and disseminate useful and interesting information in applied animal andrology for the benefit of students, professionals, practitioners, educators, researchers, industry leaders and personnel, animal breeders, regulatory and extension personnel, and interested members of the public.

  • Promotes Animal Andrology as a vital and significant scientific discipline
  • Stimulates interest in the roles, capabilities and achievements of Animal Andrologists
  • Encourages and facilitates interactions, collaborations and synergies with relevant industries and organizations
  • Supports Animal Andrology students with networking, mentorship and material support
  • Conducts meetings, webinars & other informational and outreach activities
  • Publishes and disseminates applied scientific information, including conference proceedings
  • Provides relevant links, news, updates and information exchanges
  • Provides networking and contacts for members, including a forum
  • Establishes and facilitates focus groups for specified subjects or projects

                  4A membership & support

                  The Association for Applied Animal Andrology (4A) plays an important & unique role in linking andrology researchers, new developments & technologies with the animal breeding industries worldwide and is renowned for its outstanding biennial conferences. 

                  Today, in recognition of increasing interest and activity in animal andrology, there is a need for 4A to increase its outreach and resources with the following initiatives:

                  1.      A new, more interactive, website www.animalandrology.org.

                  2.      Active social media (Facebook and Twitter)

                  3.      Presentation of webinars, workshops and focused meetings.

                  4.      Availability of resources, links and opportunities (including students)
